Change the Clocks / Sub Acute

Untitled-1.jpg

The clocks at the GV Health Shepparton campus were taken down earlier this year and replaced with clocks that also display the day, date and month, to help older people remain orientated.

This was done as part of the Improving Care for Older People project, which has been making significant upgrades to the physical environment during the last year.

Given that GV Health had 40 clocks that were commissioned but are still working, it seemed a good opportunity for some creative team building.

Staff from all locations were invited to adopt a de-commissioned clock and turn it into a creative masterpiece to display as part of an art installation at GV Health, to celebrate the improvements being made in caring for older people in our community.

The executive team of judges said it was difficult to select one winner because all the entries were so creative.

The art works were displayed along the GV Health Shepparton main corridor, near the newly installed rest station, for a few months for all passers-by to enjoy.
