Having visited ERs in other hospitals throughout Victoria and other states I was impressed with the quiet competence of the staff. The triage nurse regularly moved through the waiting area to check on people and assure them and give them information. The doctor was polite gentile and explained everything so well. All the staff in ED were attentive caring and I always felt safe and that I was in competent hands.”

My wife passed away in your unit and I wish to pass on my thanks for the care and compassion shown by the staff, in particular the nurse attending to her at the time. She explained everything clearly and succinctly while showing great compassion towards me and my situation. Your staff must find it difficult and stressful dealing with grieving relatives in my circumstances they did a brilliant job. On behalf of the family I thank the nurse, she made a very stressful, emotional and upsetting that little bit easier to cope with.”

Receptionists, Nurses, Practitioners and Physicians whom I have had contact with are to be commended on upholding, to a very high degree, the hospital’s values of Respect, Compassion, Integrity, Excellence and Collaboration. All staff are welcoming, caring and professional as they work towards catering for your individual needs. Specialist Consulting Suites, Pathology, Pharmacy, Admissions Medical Imaging and the Day Procedure Unit. We are indeed lucky to have such an excellent health facility in the Goulburn Valley."
